More than a million Iraqis — mostly innocent, unarmed civilians — dies as a result of the U.S.-led invasion and occupation of the oil-rich Middle East country and there is a mountain of evidence that many, many of these deaths were the direct result of “war crimes” and “crimes against humanity” committed by people at the very top of the massively corrupt George W. Bush administration. But no one has gone to prison and no one has even been charged.
Already, more than five million American families have been evicted from their homes due to foreclosure on the fraudulent mortgages these families were lured into buying. There are at least 10,000 U.S. bank executives who have each committed at least $50 million in mortgage frauds. But no one has gone to prison and no one has even been charged.
Millions of Americans have been thrown into joblessness in recent years after the massive financial derivatives frauds committed by the gangster banksters collapsed the entire global economy. But no one has gone to prison and no one has even been charged.
Yet if peaceful protesters gather to express their anger at what has been done to them by an Amerikkkan socioeconomic elite that has become immune to prosecution — unless other billionaires and mega-millionaires are among their victims — they are routinely batoned, kicked, punched, pepper-sprayed, tasered, kettled, arrested, prosecuted and harshly punished for daring to rise up against the lawless predators who have destroyed their lives and their livelihoods.
How can this be in a “country of laws?”
From time to time, I tune in to the Alex Jones radio program and I have absolutely lost count of how many times over the past couple of years I have heard police officers come on Jones’ show and swear “on their mothers’ graves” that they would all be willing to break ranks and disobey their superiors, if necessary, to enforce the U.S. Constitution and the rights that constitution gives to every American, the very constitution they have all sworn to uphold come hell or high water.
Where the hell have all these cops — so committed to the U.S. Constitution and the “democratic” rights it grants — been for the past two years. I follow the news very closely, spending an average of at least eight to ten hours every day following the news on the Internet, on TV, on radio and in newspapers. But I have never heard of a single U.S. cop breaking the ranks and defending the Constitution instead of obeying unconstitutional orders from their superiors. The typical oath that U.S. cops take starts with the words: “On my honor, I will never betray my badge or the public trust.” But they are all doing it, day in and day out, every day of the year.
Amerikkkan politicians also must swear a similar oath before taking office. And implicit in all these oaths that the corrupt cops and the puppet political prostitutes of the Top One Percent take, is a commitment to perform their sworn duties “without fear or favour.” Yet every one of these “oath-takers” seems to be compelled by fear — or some other baser instinct — to exclusively serve the illegitimate vested interests of the Top One Percent — the billionaires and mega-millionaires — the gangster banksters and corporate robber barons — at a very high cost to the Other 99 Percent — the poor, the working class and the middle class.
It is not the democratic protesters who should be getting batoned, kicked, punched, pepper-sprayed, tasered, kettled, arrested, charged and harshly punished. It is the millionaires and billionaire gangster banksters and corporate robber barons — almost the entirety of whose vastly immoral wealth consists of the “proceeds of crime,” and, especially, the proceeds of “crimes against humanity” who should be getting brutalized by the cops, the politicians, the courts and their future cellmates in the general population of Amerikkka’s maximum-security prisons.
They are the criminals — the unprosecuted felons — whose career-long criminality has victimized hundreds of millions of people around the world and has brought the entire global economy to the precipice of total destruction.
Where are the law-enforcement and political “oath-takers” who will stand up and put their sacred oaths ahead of all other corrupt considerations? Where are they?
