The United States of Amerikkka is fond of scolding other countries about their alleged democratic shortcomings and praising itself as “the land of the free” and “the home of the brave.”
But any Amerikkkan who is still brainwashed by all that brazen bullshit needs to have his or her head read.
Just recently, in a move almost totally ignored by the Amerikkkan corporate mainstream mass media, the House of Representatives quietly passed a Bill that would serve no other purpose than to kill whatever is left of Amerikkka’s fraudulent “democracy.”
H.R. 347, as the Bill is officially called, was passed by a vote of 432 to just three.
And its provisions are that anyone who protests in the vicinity of the White House, the Capitol, any federal government building, any political convention or any bank is liable, upon conviction, to 10 years’ imprisonment and a $25,000 fine.
Clearly, the Top One Percent and their puppet political prostitutes are becoming very, very frightened that the Occupy Wall Street movement may become much larger and much more demanding this year.
In the six months since the Occupy movement began, more than 6,700 Americans have been arrested and charged just because they chose to protest peacefully about the corporate corruption and greed that swamps Amerikkka and the grotesque – and rapidly growing – gap between rich Amerikkkans and poor Americans.
It’s funny. Amerikkka’s puppet political prostitutes, the Top One Percent and the Amerikkkan corporate mainstream mass media were thrilled when the masses rose up last year in a number of Arab and European countries.
But let anyone point out the immoral inequalities, the massive poverty living alongside unfathomable private wealth, and the routinely unpunished corruption and criminality of the Top One Percent in Amerikkka – the millionaires, mega-millionaires, billionaires and mega-billionaires — and their so-called “democratic” government wants to toss him or her in prison and throw away the key.
And as for Amerikkka being the “home of the brave,” what could possibly more laughable or more fraudulent?
How much “bravery” does it take to wage invasions and occupations of Third World countries almost totally unable to fight back? How much “bravery” does it take to fire on civilians armed only with slingshots from a fighter jet 35,000 feet above them? And how much “bravery” does it take to “pilot” an unmanned drone from 10,000 miles away as you fire on unarmed civilian men, women and children?
No, Amerikkka is neither “the home of the brave” nor “the land of the free.” Over the past 30 years it has spiralled down into becoming the most right-wing, the most extremist, the most fascist and the most anti-democratic country in the world.
And as for its so-called “bravery,” we see lots of it when the target is a poor and poorly armed Third World country. But Amerikkka never dares to attack a country that can really fight back.
