The 24-hour Jewish New Year – Rosh Hashanah – began at sunset today. Also a holy day, it is a time for the middle class to “repent and become righteous.”
But is not so much the Jewish middle class – nor the Jewish poor or working classes – that should be “repenting and becoming righteous.”
Rather, it is Israel’s racist, right-wing zionists and their puppet political prostitutes who should be atoning for their monstrous sins.
For 44 years now, the Israeli government has illegally occupied Palestinian lands and forced the Palestinian people to live under concentration-camp-like conditions.
For almost 20 years, Palestinian leaders have sought to negotiate a two-state solution – based on the 1967 borders – that the U.S., Canada and many European countries purport to support.
But for all this time, the Israeli government has made a mockery of the very idea of negotiating a final and binding two-state solution to the interminable hostilities.
The United Nations General Assembly has – on several occasions – reproached the Israeli government for its barbaric policies and illegal occupation of Palestine and repression of the Palestinian people.
But whenever there is talk of the UN taking action to end the Israeli government’s illegalities, the United States government has stepped in, hypocritically using its veto on the UN Security Council to protect the Israeli aggressors.
And, of course, every time the U.S. sticks its nose in the business, a phalanx of its so-called allies – like Canada – join in the chorus of Amerikkkan cacaphony.
Why does this all happen?
It happens because the zionist-controlled Israeli governments of the past six decades have actually controlled the Amerikkkan government.
And how does this all happen?
Every year the United States government gives $4 billion in foreign aid to the Israeli government.
But instead of using this money to improve the lives of disadvantaged Israelis, the government of the Jewish state conspires to misappropriate this precious funding, improperly giving a large portion of it to AIPAC (the American-Israeli Political Action Committee) and other Amerikkkan Jewish lobbies.
AIPAC and the other Jewish lobbies, in turn, use this money to finance the election of Amerikkkan politicians who are willing to either support, or turn a blind eye to, zionist racism. And since this improperly diverted funding is very significant to many Amerikkkan political candidates, they are readily domesticated and bent to do the Israeli government’s evil bidding.
At this precise moment, the U.S. and Israeli governments are conspiring to block the Palestinian people’s bid for UN recognition as a state.
Palestinian statehood would tend to level the playing field between the Israelis and the Palestinians and might actually even force the Israeli government to the bargaining table with a mind for real and serious negotiations.
Americans who care about these injustices should phone, write or e-mail their congressmen, their senators and their president and demand that Amerikkka stop kowtowing to the government of Israel and cut off all foreign aid to the Jewish state until a just and final two-state resolution has been negotiated and passed.
