In the scant few days since United States President Barack Obama proposed very modest tax increases for corporations and the wealthy, the circus of ignorant, effete, hate-filled Republican Tea Party pretenders after the presidency have been falling all over themselves with their shrill screams of “class warfare.”
But who really wages “class warfare” in Amerikkka? Even a cursory look at the record of the past 30 years shows that it is the socioeconomic elite – the millionaires and billionaires and their cabal of puppet political prostitutes – who are waging this unholy war against the masses – the poor, the working class and the middle class – rather than the reverse.
Consider just some of the salient facts:
Ever since that boorish clown Ronald Reagan first became president in 1981, it has been all uphill for the elite and all downhill for the masses.
It started with mental midget Reagan outlawing the Professional Air Traffic Controllers Association (their union, PATCO) and legislating a windfall of lavish tax cuts for the corporations, the banks and the wealthy. And that trend has continued ever since, under Republican Tea Party and Democratic Blue Dog administrations alike ever since.
In 1996, Bill Clinton, the so-called “first black president,” abolished “welfare as we know it.” As a consequence, 19 million Americans now dependent on food stamps and food banks for survival who would formerly have qualified have been denied welfare just since the global economic meltdown in 2008.
In that same time period, six million Americans have been thrown out of work by profitable corporations.
And four million American families have been turfed out of their homes by the banks through mortgage foreclosures.
Since the beginning of so-called “free trade” two decades ago, 47,000 Amerikkkan manufacturing plants have been shut down and relocated to low-wage foreign cesspools.
That adds up to at least 29,047,025 blows against the masses – the poor, the working class and the middle class – by the millionaires and billionaires, their banks and corporations, and their puppet political prostitutes in the past 30 years.
WRISEUP.COM challenges the ignorant, effete, hate-filled Republican Tea Party presidential hopefuls and their Democratic Blue Dog coherts to identify even 25 blows against this unholy elite and their political puppets by the masses. They can’t.
So, yes, “class warfare” is certainly being waged in Amerikkka. But it is the super-rich Amerikkkans who are waging all the warfare against the American masses. The masses have yet to fight back.
But it is coming. And when it comes, the effete elite will scurry off to their gated communities in droves as they are finally forced to give back even a small part of what they have stolen from the poor, the working class and the middle class over the past 30 years.
You can fool some of the people all of the time. You can fool all of the people some of the time. But you can’t fool all of the people all of the time.
And when the masses do eventually rise up and join the battle of “class warfare,” there will be a terrible gnashing of teeth among those who already have far, far more than their fair share and never stop demanding even more.
