Is the swine-flu vaccine a Trojan Horse?

We should all think twice before having that shot.

Most conspiracy theories are so outlandish and so preposterous that they die a near-instant death in the theorist’s own embarassment. The great tragedy is that the ridicule and ignominy reserved for conspiracy theorists all too often kills off even legitimate and correct theories.
But there is one conspiracy theory making the rounds today that should give us all pause for thought: It is the theory that a cabal of billionaires and mega-millionaires has conspired to reduce the world’s population by more than 90 percent and that the lab-produced H1N1 and the vaccine for it are the vehicles through which this massive culling of the human herd is to be carried out.
The theory holds that this tired old Earth can only adequately provide for 500 million people not the 6.5 billion who eke out an existence today.
It further holds that members of an exclusive secret society of billionaires, mega-millionaires and their political lackeys – the Bilderberg Society – have conspired to turn the untested vaccine for this lab-nurtured flu into a time bomb that will seem inocuous as it enters human bodies but come back at a pre-determined time to cause a horrific death.
Sound plausible? Certainly. After all, most of the filthy rich have long since sold their souls anyway.
It is their corporations that routinely ravage nature in the name of profit. It is their corporations that pay starvation wages to the Third World labourers who manufacture the products they flog for enormous profits in the advanced industrial world.
And it is these same billionaires and mega-millionaires who promote and profit from every war. If they are comfortable with a modest culling of the human herd, why wouldn’t they also be comfortable with a massive culling, especially if they are convinced that this planet is already overburdened.
There is probably no evil so unspeakable that most billionaires and most mega-millionaires would not indulge in it if they felt it would increase their already unspendable wealth.
But I still have a problem with this particular conspiracy theory. It is the sheer numbers that are unsustainable.
Yes, the world may indeed be overcrowded. Yes, there may be a need for a natural culling of the herd.
But cutting the world’s population down by almost 95 percent would be counterproductive from the perspective of most of these Whores-for-Mammon whose ultimate obsession is nothing other than their own aggregate finacnial scores.
It would leave so much surplus housing that hosuing prices would collapse worldwide. So too would the prices of stores and offices and shopping malls and factories.
There would be so much industrial and technological over-capacity that the Bilderberg conspirators would inevitably turn against each other in their quest for a slice of the decimated market.
There would be so much global infrastructure to maintain and so few people to finance or perform that maintenance that everything would collapse into chaos.
So while this particular conspiracy theory is somewhat improbable on its own face, it may still be rooted in some kind of reality.
Think twice about having that swine-flu vaccine, especially if you’re not in one of the most vulnerable groups. I, for one, will not have this particular shot.
