Wow, the lower end of the gene pool has struck again this week with all the wasted hot air over the Obama speech to kids returning to school.
These conservative blowhards opened mouths to whoever would listen, opposing this innocent and uplifting speech to the very children who need guidance. They pulled their kids from school, even turning off their TV’s for the day to avoid any coverage of his inspiring words.
Claims from the opposition were that Obama would be brainwashing them with his ideology and urging these kids to vote Democratic. His speech was based around striving for your dreams and believing in yourself. He stated that even with the best teachers and administrators you will not rise to your best if you don’t strive for perfection yourself.
I think that these people are all acting silly, and brainwashing, if anything, is the blocking of one view for the advantage of another.
Too narrow-minded to see that they are hypocrites, they continue to complain as they shield their kids from different opinions but then shuffle off to church to brainwash them there to hate other races, religions, and sexual orientations.
The great Howard Stern this week called the opposition to the speech “Racist “ and insisted the new round of Socialist finger-pointing stems from the fact that Obama is half black. I also agree. A lot of this opposition came from the states where Obama did not do well and were led by John McCain.
I suppose they would have no problem with a speech given by the likes of my good , close, personal friend, George W. Bush instead. Now I see where this is going. Ever hear of “ Bushisms “ anyone? The man was, and is, a complete idiot.
Here are just a few of the meandering, often unintelligible quotes from this seemingly lobotomized former Prez.
“ This thaw, took a while to thaw, It’s going to take a while to unthaw.” G.W.B. speaking on liquidity in the markets, Alexandria, La., Oct. 20, 2008.
“ I didn’t grow up in the ocean, as a matter of fact, near the ocean, I grew up in the desert. Therefore, it was a pleasant contrast to see the ocean. And I particularly like it when I’m fishing.” G.W.B. Washington, D.C., Sept 26 2008.
“ Anyone engaging in illegal financial transactions will be caught and persecuted.” G.W.B. Washington, D.C., Sept 19,2008.
“The people of Louisiana must know that all across our country there’s a lot of prayer. Prayer for those whose lives have been turned upside down. And I’m one of them.” G.W.B. Baton, Rouge, La., Sept,3 2008.
“ I think it was the rose garden where I issued this brilliant statement: if I had a magic wand. But the president doesn’t have a magic wand. You just can’t say, low gas.” G.W.B. Washington, D.C., July 15, 2008.
And last but not least, one of my favorites, “And they have no disregard for human life.” (On the brutality of Afghan fighters, Washington, D.C. July 15, 2008).
The people of the United States should feel lucky to have such an intelligent, articulate leader (shit, he’s even been in G.Q. magazine..) and stop and think about the things they choose to oppose which are “silly” and focus instead on things like hungry children, and adults, or persecution of the innocent who can’t defend themselves, or racist behaviour or the shrinking economy and the loss of homes related to it.
There, Whiners, now I’ve got you started. Now get going and be more productive with your causes and quit acting like morons.
