United States President Barack Obama had barely enunciated his proposal to wring an additional tiny chunk of taxes out of the country’s pampered and privileged millionaires and billionaires before the Republican Tea Party denounced him for allegedly fomenting “class warfare.”
Where have the Republican Tea Party morons been for the past 30 years?
The masses – the poor, the working class and the middle class – may well have unilaterally declared a ceasefire by the early Seventies; but the socioeconomic elite – the sociopathic millionaires and billionaires – decided a few years later to press the pedal to the metal in their aggression against the masses and they haven’t let up since.
In fact, while the wealth of the super-rich has mushroomed – especially in the last decade –, the poor, the working class and even the middle class have suffered greatly. read more »
