The time has come for Great Britain to implement a final solution to the Irish-English problem by giving Ulster or Northern Ireland – the six counties on the northeast of the Irish island that are now part of the United Kingdom – back to the Republic of Ireland.
Although Ulster or Northern Ireland has been largely at peace with itself – and with both Great Britain and the Republic of Ireland – for a number of years now, for many who have suffered under the legacy of 800 years of English-Irish “troubles,” the wounds still fester.
