To believe that the United States is actually a democracy, one would have to have slurped down too many glasses of the acid-laced Kool-Aid; and to believe that the Democratic Party in the U.S. – or the Liberal Party, or even today’s NDP, in Canada – is actually leftist, one would have to have binged on some delusion-inducing elixir.
Let us ask ourselves: What kind of “democracy” would have forced American presidential voters in 2016 to choose between Satan Trump and Lucifer Clinton – and absolutely no other viable option?
Similarly, how bizarre was it in September, 2015, to hear RIGHT-WING NDP leader Thomas Mulcair fritter away his party’s huge lead in the polls – amid the election campaign – by promising that a Mulcair government would balance the budget its first year in power, even though Canada was in the throes of a nasty, lingering recession?
And also similarly, how bizarre was it that “boyish” Liberal Party leader Justin Trudeau – mired in a distant third place in the polls – was able to call his wife, Sophie Gregoire, after that day’s campaigning to boast that Mulcair had just handed the Liberals a majority? The very next day, Trudeau announced that his Liberal Party would be willing to run a deficit of as much as $30 billion in order to create much-need high-wage jobs.
The brainwashed sheep of both Amerikkka and Canada can choose to believe – at their own peril – that their own respective countries are paragons of democratic virtue. Yet despite their lofty and “sacred” constitutions, neither country has ever truly been a democracy and neither country was ever meant – by their respective “Founding Fathers” – to actually BE a democracy.
In both countries, the intent of the early “Euro-Amerikkkan” and “Euro-Canadian” settler master class always was that ALL power would always be wielded exclusively by white male property owners.
