Israeli-Amerikkkan axis of evil going mad

By Henry McRandall
WRISEUP.COM

Its incessant fear-mongering and ratcheting-up of tensions in the Middle East and around the world in recent times must give pause to wonder whether the Israeli-Amerikkkan axis of evil has gone positively mad.
And while the hate-fomenting rhetoric of Israel and of Amerikkka has become somewhat divided in recent days on the question of whether either should attempt to bomb Iran into pre-historic times in the very near future, the two most right-wing countries in the world remain largely united in advancing an extremely destructive worldview and agenda.
But the issue of Iran – as also the issue of Syria – may prove to be the twin challenges that create some disunity between between Israel and Amerikkka and amongst the bit players – the NATO countries – in this most dangerous axis of evil in the history of the world.
While Amerikkka purports to oppose an attack on Iran’s peacefully-purposed nuclear installations at this time, the rabidly-insane Israeli government – no more and no less rabidly insane than the governments of either Iran or Amerikkka (especially its so-called Congress) – is gung-ho to go to war. Greece: A test case for global repression

By Henry McRandall
WRISEUP.COM

The evidence is mounting that the Top One Percent and their worldwide puppet political prostitutes have selected poor, beleaguered Greece as their test case for just how harshly they can crush the Other 99 Percent of a population without provoking outright revolution.
Consider what has happened to the people of that European Union country since the super-rich masters of the universe first imposed government austerity on the nation:
The official unemployment rate now stands at a staggering 23 percent (the real unemployment rate is actually much higher); 25 percent of all the businesses in the country have shut down, including 50 percent of small businesses; old-age pensions have been slashed by 25 percent; the minimum wage has been slashed by as much as 40 percent; the overall economy has shrunk by more than seven percent over the last quarter of 2011; and the country has had to surrender its gold reserves and turn over much of the Greek commons, including priceless historical icons, to foreign vulture capitalists.
And, as if that is not enough, the IMF (International Monetary Fund) and the EU (European Union) are now also demanding that the economically and morally bankrupt Greek government significantly increase its spending on the procurement of lavish military hardware from Germany and France; that it fire 30 percent of the employees in its public health-care system; and outlaw the filling of any medical prescriptions with generic drugs (forcing sick Greeks to pay much more for brand-name prescriptions).
Why has all this been forced on Greece? Simply so that it can receive so-called “bailout” money from the EU and the IMF, “bailout” money Greece is immediately required to pass on to the international private banking community. Not one penny of the so-called “bailout” money from the EU and the IMF is allowed to be spent on the legitimate and pressing needs of the Greek people. The Top One % celebrates Greek tragedy

By Henry McRandall
WRISEUP.COM

Every stock market in the world opened
on a significant high this morning as the Top One Percent of income-earners celebrated the new round of extreme suffering they have just managed to impose on the Other 99 Percent in poor, beleaguered Greece.
“Il faut feter ca,” is an exclamation heard daily in francophone Quebec as the most boisterous of North Americans get ready to celebrate something, anything.
But the traditional, triumphant boisterism of Quebecers has been surpassed in the past 30 years by the screeching cacophony emanating from the lavish quarters of the Top One Percent every time a new round of suffering can be thrust upon some portion of the Other 99 Percent – the poor, the working class and the middle class – somewhere, somehow. Today it’s Greece. Continue reading “The Top One % celebrates Greek tragedy”

U.S. government attacks basic democracy

By Henry McRandall
WRISEUP.COM

A couple of weeks ago I discovered a website – www.firstrowsports.com – that does nothing more threatening than allowing people to watch out-of-town hockey, basketball and soccer games.
When I retuned to the website about a week ago, hoping to find a Boston Bruins game I could watch, I was shocked by the sight that greeted me.
No longer was the webstie offering me access to out-of-town sports events. Instead, I was greeted by the sight of three badges – one each for the United States Department of Justice, the “National Intellectual Property Rights Co-ordinating Center” and Homeland Security Investigations.
Directly below the bold positioning of the badges was a statement that “this domain has been seized by ICE – Homeland Security Investigations.”
And just below that was a stern warning that first-time offenders who download such inocuous material as a movie, a song, or a sports event without authorization are subject – upon that first conviction – to five years in federal prison, “restitution,” forefeiture and a hefty fine.
Have Amerikkka’s puppet political prostitues all gone criminally insane?!?! Continue reading “U.S. government attacks basic democracy”

Taking aim at the gangster banksters

By Henry McRandall
WRISEUP.COM

It was reported in a recent WRISEUP.COM column (Dec. 6, 2011) that for the most recent fiscal year, out of the many thousands of companies operating in Canada – just five companies (the country’s five largest banks) accounted for almost 11 percent of all company profits.
Their combined profits of $22.4 billion were also an 8.7 percent increase over their record profits of the previous year.
And although precise comparisons for the U.S. are not currently available, it is almost certain that the picture there is similar.
Humongous banks in both Canada and the U.S. – including banks that have been lavished with mega-billions of dollars in government bailouts — are now among the most profitable entities in either country. Continue reading “Taking aim at the gangster banksters”
